National Law College (NaLC) is one of the undergraduate and graduate law school of Tribhuvan University in Lalitpur, Nepal.〔(National Law College website )〕 The school offers a five-year B.A. LL.B program at undergraduate level and a two-year LL.M course at graduate level. Founded in 2012, the college enrolls 70 students in undergraduate level and 50 students in the graduate level. ==B.A LL.B. and LL.M. Program== NaLC offers a five-year B.A. LL.B. at undergraduate level. The college used a yearly evaluation method for all the batches enrolling upto 2015. However, starting from 2015, as per University rules, the college started using semester system evaluation. 〔(Change in University Rules of Tribhuwan University )〕 The first year course consists of eight compulsory courses with 125 hours of classes for each subject. The students will be evaluated for 100 marks through various mechanisms. From second year of classes however, there are both compulsory and optional subject. Students are expected to choose at least two optional subjects. The first three years of the course consist of law and social science subjects. Starting in the third year, all the courses are legal subjects. Three seminar courses will be offered by professors in the third, fourth and fifth year.〔(Course Structure for B.A. LL.B Yearly Evaluation )〕 The LL.M course runs for two years and has three compulsory subjects. The students choose at least two of the six optional courses that have been provided. The system is similar to that of undergraduate level, with 125 hours of classes for 100 marks subjects and evaluation is on a yearly basis.〔(Course Structure for LL.M. )〕
